The complete course

The whole Minecraft experience is divided into 7 UNITS. Each Unit consists of 10 hours of classes + a bonus class.

Unit 1

An INTRODUCTION TO ALGORITHMS using the REDSTONE

Is your child familiar with Minecraft already? Then, they are ready to explore further and master the power of the Redstone. The Redstone is to Minecraft what electronic circuits are to the real world. This is what powers the mechanisms children create in Minecraft. In chapter 1, participants will learn to build a safe. Objectives:
  • Learning to organize ideas
  • Using logic based functions: AND, OR and NOT
  • Handling comparators and loops

Units 2, 3, 4

SIMPLIFIED PROGRAMMING using COMMAND BLOCKS

In Unit 2, your child will design a piston door system and an elevator. They will discover the usefulness of Command Blocks.

In Unit 3, they will create a battle arena and a puzzle game.

In Unit 4, they will be taught the notions of conditions and states, to create a Splatoon-like course game.

Objectives:

  • Writing complex commands
  • Creating a sequence of structured actions

Units 5, 6, 7

CREATIng MODS AND coding in simplified JAVA with visual blocks

Participants use the MCreator software and visual coding to learn the basics of the Java language. This allows them to modify the Minecraft game and add their own creations.

In Units 5, children create magic swords and new ores.

In Units 6
, children program a stone block generator activated by a power source.

In Unit 7
, children finalize their mod creation. They can share it with friends.

Objectives:

  • Practicing in a development environment
  • Acquiring experience working on large project
  • Coding in basic Java using visual blocks

My child really enjoyed the coding camp with Minecraft. Your virtual classroom platform with the functions of approaching the teacher as if you were physically going to his desk is particularly ingenious.
I am a teacher myself and would like to try it with my students. We will not hesitate to recommend the studio's courses to our acquaintances?

I saw the motivation of my 11 year old son to do the cong course withMinecraft. He doesn't want to miss it for nothing. He has a passion and a talent. I don't really like video games so it gives me another vision.
I have the impression of having really found what he likes while exploiting his creativity, his taste for play and his quest to understand his curiosity. When you need to talk to someone it is very quick to receive an answer. great service
